Dr. Babatunde Wale Okewale -FRCOG (UK)

An Obstetrician, gynaecologist and fertility expert, Dr. Okewale is an Author, a Philanthropist and a Broadcaster. He is currently the Chairman of ;

He obtained a Bachelor of medicine and surgery from the University of Ibadan in 1985 and his houseman-ship at University College Hospital (UCH) Ibadan in 1986. He had his NYSC service at Police clinics Port Harcourt. After a brief work as a Medical Officer at St joseph’s Catholic Hospital Ijebu-Igbo Ogun State, he proceeded to the UK for his postgraduate training in obstetrics and gynaecology in 1988. Whilst in UK, he worked in various Hospitals in Leeds, Manchester and Oxford regional health authorities under the NHS. He was admitted to membership of the Royal College of Obstetrics and Gynaecologist (MRCOG) UK in 1992 and later become a fellow (FRCOG). He became a member of the Faculty of Family Planning and Reproductive Health (MFFP) UK in 1994 and a member of the European Society of Human Reproduction and Embryology (ESHRE). He is also a member of the American Society of Reproductive Medicine (ASRM). As a leading fertility expert in Nigeria, Dr Okewale is a member of the Association for fertility and Reproductive Health Nigeria (AFRH) and a member of the Society of Obstetrician and Gynaecologist of Nigeria (SOGON).
Dr Babatunde Wale Okewale is the Executive Chairman of Ives Medicare HMO a Health maintenance organisation registered and accredited by the National Health Insurance Scheme (NHIS) of Nigeria for the purpose of providing health insurance coverage for Nigerians.
Dr Babatunde Wale Okewale is also the Chairman of Ives Medicare Foundation an NGO that has been in the forefront of helping to ease health care access to thousands of under privileged Nigerians, The foundation has Various health Schemes ranging from free health care services to thousands of under privileged Nigerians and it is also well known for its yearly half price subsidised price cut for infertility and IVF services to infertile couples that cannot afford the huge cost of IVF services.
Dr Babatunde Wale Okewale is a well-known strong advocate both in the print and electronic media for the total well-being of women, women healthcare, health education and the empowerment of women in every sphere of the society. His regular column in the City people magazine and in the CAPITAL online newspaper is a must read for many Nigerians.
Dr Babatunde Wale Okewale is a celebrated Author of the best-selling book ‘How to get pregnant and have a baby”. The book is a complete patient’s guide to infertility management.
Dr Babtunde Okewale is the Executive chairman of St Ives Communications, the owners of WFM 91.7 radio Nigeria’s 1st FM radio station for women. Recognising the multifaceted and multi layered nature of woman; the radio station has proven to be the perfect platform and sounding board for women to air their news and share their thoughts.
Dr Babatunde Okewale is married with children.

Vice Chairman

Dr. Deji Morenikeji

Dr. Deji Morenikeji is the chief medical Director of Triumph Medical centre situated at 32, Unity Road off Toyin Street, Ikeja, and Lagos. He qualified as a Medical Doctor in 1985 from the prestigious University of Ibadan in Oyo State. He has gathered a lot of experience in the medical field both locally and abroad over the years. He has attended several courses after graduation and is well vast in field of medicine and surgery. He is still in active private medical practice. He is also a member of the Board of trustee of Goodnews Miracle Church Alasia, Oshodi, where is also an associate pastor. He is happily married with children


Dr. Olalekan Adelakun, MBBS, MBA

A Medical manager / practitioner, Lekan has an MBA with specialty in Health Care Management and a Certificate in Basic Trauma Life Support. He is certified Aviation Medical Examiner, he holds the Basic & Advanced Certificates in Aviation Medicine from Kings College, University of London. He is also a trained trainer, having attended many trainers’ development courses. He has participated in co-ordinated and facilitated in many training courses. He was once a member of the Oyo State Hospitals Management Board and on the faculty of the Centre for Management Development (CMD),Industrial Training Fund (ITF) and the financial Institutions Training Centre (FITC). Dr. Lekan is currently the Team Lead/ Chief Executive of Q-impact Medicare Limited and Managing Consultant of Quaint Consultants, a Health and Safety Consultancy firm.


Toun Okewale Sonaiya

Toun Okewale Sonaiya is the Chief Executive Officer of WFM 91.7 – Nigeria’s first radio station for women and their families and Africa’s 1st commercial radio station for women. Her introduction to broadcasting was at the tender age of 7 as a child guest on a children’s programme in Ogun State Broadcasting Corporation [OGBC] where she cut her teeth in radio broadcasting. Toun ended up as presenter of the programme and has never looked back. With a media career spanning over 30 years, a hands on broadcaster with extensive knowledge and expertise in production, programming, sales, marketing & management.
Toun worked with OGBC-2 as a radio presenter and producer, NTA & BCOS Ibadan as TV presenter while serving with Oyo state ministry of information. She worked with DAAR Communications Limited [owners of Ray Power 100 FM & AIT] in various capacities as radio presenter, producer, manager, director of programmes and sales & marketing director. Toun was the first African female presenter and producer at Choice 107.1 FM, Now Capital Extra London, UK where she presented and Produced ‘’ African Beats ‘’ and interviewed artistes such as late South African’s Miriam Makeba, Ladysmith Black Mambazo, Beninoise Angelique Kidjo, Ghana’s Osibisa, Cameroun’s Manu Dibango, Zimbabwe’s Oliver Mtukudzi, Mali’s Oumou Sangare and Nigeria’s Adewale Ayuba.
She produced and directed ‘’Lasting Love’’ a TV series on OHTV, London UK. She was the female voice of BBC’s ‘’One for all’’ educational campaign in Africa and member panel of judges for Kora Awards in Sun City, South Africa.
A broadcaster with a passion, Toun engages passionately in the wellbeing, development and advancement of the female gender at every opportunity.
Toun’s unwavering loyalty in support of women matters is futher evidenced by her work with ex-female offenders, trafficked women and victims of domestic violence in the UK for 10years. An active member and Secretary of ‘’Issues of the Heart’’ a UK group that empowers women through training, development, counselling and mentoring and also a founding member of Nigerian Women in Diaspora Leadership Forum; Toun focuses on matters involving women & family.
A master of ceremony, Toun has compared and moderated formal and informal events including international and national conferences, seminars and workshops.


Dr. Sunday Olukayode Oyefule

Dr Sunday Olukayode Oyefule graduated from the College of Medicine University of Ibadan in 1985 with M.B.B.S and a post graduate diploma in Family Medicine from the Nigeria Post Graduate Medical College Lagos in 2015. He is a Specialist Family Physician, Medical Director and CEO of Shasha Medical center in Shasha- Akowonjo, Lagos.
He is the immediate Past Chairman of the Association of General and private Medical Practitioners of Nigeria (AGPMPN) Agege Zone. He is married with Children.
